Accommodation

There is a separate system for applying for accommodation, which is administered by another unit of the University of Silesia in Katowice.

Student residence halls are located in three cities: Katowice-Ligota, Sosnowiec and Cieszyn. Before choosing your student residence hall please make sure you have chosen an option close to your faculty. The addresses of student residence halls are available below – please use Google Maps to check the exact location.

Certificates confirming the allocation of a place in a student dormitory are generated from the USOS system after the application has been reviewed, upon the student’s written request. The certificate contains the student’s personal data provided during the admission process. The document is signed by the university authorities and then sent to the student.
